About a week ago I went to the Paterno statue to see the memorial and Franco Harris showed up. It was 12:30 in the morning.

How about Franco Harris calling my church looking for a member of the BOT? Not a sighting, but there was something humorous about telling the guy that the BOT member would call him later.

Saw Jeffrey Wright in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, walking down the street. I said hi, he said hello.

I exchanged hellos with Hulk Hogan yesterday. I was walking the streets of north Clearwater beach and he was in his driveway.

I grew up about 5 minutes away from Hulk Hogan. He used to work out at the Gold's Gym next to my high school, and I'd always see him driving around in his Viper or one of his bikes. Saw him up close in Wal Mart years ago. He was wearing daisy duke purple spandex shorts, a pink tank top, a green bandana and flip flops.

Marlo Stanfield just stopped me and asked me a question about my neighborhood. Highlight of my year so far.

Herb Magee asked me for directions like two weeks ago. I didn't know them.

Googling him I found out he's from Bushwick, Brooklyn. About a mile from my house is Ft. Greene which is where lots of young black celebs live. Erykah Badu lives about two blocks from here with Jay Electronica. I wouldn't be surprised if he lived close by.

What was the question? I'm sure it was directions or something, but I'm kinda hoping it was random trivia. Like out of nowhere, "What's the highest rated Indian restaurant on Yelp in all of Fort Greene?" And then walked away.

He was in the passenger seat of a running SUV, I was telling my girl about how Neil DeGrasse Tyson tweeted that people should be called Venerials, and he says, excuse me, so I turn to him, and he says excuse me is that house abandoned, and I say I think people live there still, but yeah it's abandoned, and then he said oh, thank you. We went to the grocery store and then walked back the same way. The car was still there, so I had my girl give a look this time so I wouldn't look like a dork, and she was like, ya that's definitely him.

Kicking myself for not saying, MY NAME IS MY NAME, or saying Bubbles lived in the house, or some other shit.

Walked past Senator Arlen Specter on 15th Street last Friday. Also take the bus pretty frequently, including this morning, with District Attorney Lynne Abraham.

Saw Chase Utley's greatness disappearing behind a thicket of grim reminders of mortality. Feel like I should have said something but instead only managed to produce a stupid little wave.
