I met Carlos Ruiz (the Union one) at McGillins on Tuesday night. I was having a beer at the bar and he came walking in with his lady. We shook hands and spoke briefly.

That is absolutely fantastic. That's like bumping into Brett Favre while he's wearing a Packers helmet and taking pictures of his penis.

Took a spanish class in '07 @ my local community college, and Jerome McDougle was enrolled in it. Someone asked him early on if he was "THE" Jerome McDougle, and he said "no". This was while he was on the DL with an injury.
Anyway, at the end of the term while the teacher was quizzing us on oral presentations and the class dwindled down, I finally struck up conversation with him and was telling him about how my dad and Trent Cole go hunting all the time. And he was like, "wait, you know who I am?". And I was like, "with all due respect, there's not many 6'3 big black dudes named Jerome McDougle in the area".

true story, he tried hitting on some chick the first day of class and got shut down hard.

I saw two members of El Tri (the Mexican international football team) walking down Chestnut street tonight.

I *think* it was Guardado and maybe Barrera.

This was like two months ago but I was eating lunch outside Old Nelson at 7th and Chestnut the day Always Sunny was filming and Mac and Charlie walked by. Realized I was sitting right next to their trailer as Mac (noticeably heavier) went into his. Charlie walked by me, I gave him the upward nod and he said "Hey what's up"

Ben Bridwell outside Lorenzo's

Is the day of a concert considered "everyday"?

I just had BBQ and the waitress who delivered my food was Emily Rios -- Epyck Sanders from Friday Night Lights/Andrea from Breaking Bad. I've been to this BBQ restaurant in Venice several times so I knew she worked there. I talked to her about the shows one time before. So tonight was no big deal.

HOWEVER, the big thing tonight was that I was drinking a Dos Equis and as I was leaving another waitress pointed at my beer and said that The Most Interesting Man in the World was eating in the back table in the next room. On our way out I saw him and he was there sitting next to a guy with a PHILLIES hat on. (I had one on too)

On my trip to LA I saw Lindsay Lohan and Jason Reitman. Two of my coworkers rode the elevator in our hotel with Al Pacino. They helped him get to his floor because he didn't know how the elevator worked.

Yep, really short. He was also wearing a headband. And it prompted me to do a Pacino impression all day that sounded great in my head but apparently like Ed McMahon to everyone else.

saw a lady walking her dog that looked like Erykah Badu but I didn't pay no mind. I watched a documentary about my neighborhood just now and turns out she does live here.
