It might be the other way around based on this post:

i'm undecided pending further evidence - not really agnostic because i don't know enough about religion by saying it's unknown or impossible to prove or disprove, but more i haven't done enough of my own research to make a decision. i'll get back to you in 40 years

Not a war, it's a personal journey. We're all going to be proven wrong and find out that God was revealed to us in the form of Papa Smurf anyway.

Julian Barnes' Nothing to Be Frightened Of is a real good distillation of his thoughts on the subject over the past 40 years. Reading it might allow you to wrap things up in only 38 or so, although truth to tell he's still flailing around.

If there were no God, there would be no atheists.

Monkeywiz born.

Practically the same minute the wee man pops out, all last vestiges of faith in faith disappear. I am now a fully paid up atheist and spend time daily getting my head round the idea that when I'm dead that's it. I mean, properly thinking about it, not just getting scared by it. Although it's still plenty scary.

I have some questions for the religious folk among us. What are their thoughts on the following

Which religion is correct?

Do you think what you believe is more accurate than what others believe? If so, why?

Or are you all possibly on the same train and just don't realize it?

Are newer religions more correct or less correct than old religions?

What about paganism/earth worship?

Do you think in, say, 750 years Scientology will have gained mainstream acceptance? If not, why?
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

agnostic. because really, who the hell am i supposed to believe in?

all the religions do is fight over who's god is real or more important. i just realize that there's more to life than meets the eye

I was born to Catholic parents in Delaware County therefore I am Catholic? If I was born in India I imagine I would be Hindu. If I was born in Iran I'd probably be Muslim. Etc. Whatever. It really doesn't matter does it?
