Truly do not understand how that is possible, but it seems to be actually happening. All PA voters outside of one who lives in GA. Keep talking to people, pals.

My mom spent years saying dems and reps were the same until Trump came along. I mention this because she's a dem in most ways, but she's not a ra-ra dem by any stretch. She called me yesterday and was crying because of the way Trump treated Biden when he was talking about his son.

That section of the debate isn't getting as much attention as others, but I would not underestimate its impact, particularly on mothers out there. It looked like he didn't give a shit about Biden losing a kid to cancer (he doesn't give a shit, of course).

Here's my conspiracy theory: Trump does not have it. Melania does not have it. Hope does not have it. But Biden will.

Also, I would like an analysis of what is causing the market to go down quickly. Is it the very big players taking out their money and the little fish following or is the market movement due to normal movement. I'm not a market guy, but I'm curious to see if this movement is happening normally. They are not beyond manipulating the markets to make it look like Trump's input/presence is need to prop up the economy.

I'm actually pretty serious about this, particularly the first one. Trump idolizes Putin and we know how Putin treats his opponents. Trump supposedly having it would be pretty good cover. The guy is going to prison when he's not president anymore and he's a sociopath. This is not beyond him.

My second conspiracy theory is that they don't have the virus and they are using it to drop out of the election so Trump can go hide in Russia where the lamestream media and fake news won't bother him and the justice dept can't reach him. Maybe he'll even fake his own death, if we're lucky.

Its really sort of an even money race as to what he is weakest on politically with dozens of horses on the track. He has, however, proven that he is human.

so i had a dream/vision last night. i've really been miffed at the fill-in-the-dot voting method we use in montco now. so i invented a new method.

2 machines. the first is like the prior generation electronic machine. you push buttons, pull levers, etc., and it lets you know if things are OK- i.e. if you voted for too many in a multiple choice race; gives a warning if you've undervoted, etc. then when you're done there, instead of 'register vote', it's basically a 'print' button. it prints out the fill-in-the-dots voting sheet. you then look it over, sign it, and run it through the actual voting machine. it records the vote, and the paper is saved as backup, just as it's done today. there were way too many people (myself included) who had to start all over again because of some mistake which was only noticed when the card was scanned.

step 3: PROFIT

That's pretty much the system we have in my county in Arkansas. I don't know if it warns you for undervotes, and we don't have multiple choice races as far as I know.

what was your mistake bucky? We have used the bubble sheets as long as i have been able to vote out here in Ches Co. When I lived in Philadelphia, I did not understand how the machines there worked. It was a very confusing voting experience for me.

i think it was judges where you were supposed to pick 3 and I picked 4 or something like that. friend of mine made the exact same mistake so i didn't feel that stupid. not sure what their mistakes were, but a lot of people in my polling place were on do-overs.

Well this one is easier. Can only pick one per race. You'll get there, old guy.

I did the exact same thing. My voting guide that I was using from my union endorsed four judges but you could only pick three. It was my fault for not reading the directions, but it was annoying to have to get back in line after they voided my ballot. I also got Sharpie all over my hands.

So, if you had mailed the ballot in would have this voided the entire thing, including your vote POTUS?

That's absolutely terrifying if true.

Had my kid call last night about getting his mail in ballot in the mail today. He was asking about the candidates he had never heard of.

He wanted to know about the Aliscia Andrews who is running against Wexler in VA-10. We had to be honest and tell him that locally it seems Wexler is running unopposed. No idea who Andrews is much less her position on things.

The he wanted to know where he could find information about Danial Glade since his web presence seems like a popup virus begging for money. We sent him to ballotpedia to do some reading. OK, I sent him there, but my wife, a fairly confirmed hardcore GOPer by birthright was shouting in the background Vote for Warner, don't was your time or vote on that clown Glade.

She started to have some doubts with Comstock being a mixture of uncaring to her constituents and falling in line with some fringy behaviors. She hated Trump and disliked Clinton (do not know if she voted for Clinton or just skipped that opportunity to vote for president in 2016), and now she is 300% in the down with Donald crowd. TBF the GOP does not seem to be working too hard in my part of VA-10.
