So do I understand that we want to go to the UN and implement this snapback because Iran is violating the JCPOA that the admin walked away from. And if that is not wacky enough, the previous US attempt at correcting Iran is something only Haiti supported. We really live on this tiny little circle now.

Also, is SnapBack completely about course correction or is it some farce to try to seal Biden into not re-engaging in diplomacy. Some project to cement incompetent foreign policy as a lasting legacy, not that the damage has not been done.

Another 1.1 million Americans filed initial claims for unemployment benefits on a seasonally adjusted basis last week, dashing economists' hopes for a second-straight week with fewer than 1 million claims.

Economists were optimistic that the US jobs market would be on a steady trajectory toward recovery. But last week's claims exceeded forecasts after the previous week's report was the first below 1 million since March, the Department of Labor reported Thursday.

Without seasonal adjustments, 891,510 people filed regular first-time claims for benefits. On top of that, claims for Pandemic Unemployment Assistance program, which Congress introduced during the coronavirus pandemic, also rose to 542,797. Adding these numbers together, unadjusted first-time claims stood at 1.4 million last week.

(CNN)A federal judge on Thursday said New York state prosecutors could have access to President Donald Trump's accounting records for a criminal investigation, siding harshly against the President.

The ruling by US District Judge Victor Marrero follows a landmark Supreme Court decision this summer that appeared to set up potentially lengthy delays on subpoenas for Trump's records. Yet the ruling on Thursday snaps attention back to the ongoing criminal probe of Trump's business dealings, and revives the possibility that Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance could reach the records before the presidential election.
"Justice requires an end to this controversy," Marrero wrote.
Trump has already appealed. He's asking the Second Circuit Court of Appeals for emergency help as he tries to stop the subpoena from being enforced next week.

Anyone know anything about the Second Circuit Court of Appeals? They can't let this charade go on any further can they?
