and probably many other non native invasive species. florida ain't a state, it's an overgrown exotic pet store.

My parents had a cat back in the day who got one. My mom woke up to a mouse on her chest in the middle of the night and the cat right there. He never sat in anyone’s lap and hated contact. Funny creatures they are.

Very true. Pythons are out of control in south Florida and moving north. You don’t even need to be licensed anymore to go out and kill them. A friend of mine makes money on the side doing that. He has invited me to come along a few times. I’m not afraid of snakes, but I’ve politely declined.
