Trump is the conclusion of 20+ years of fox news, he is not the bringer of all of this. He is the distillation of all wrong with this country, the people in it, the right wing media, and shadowy campaign finance. He didn't win because he can persuade people. He won because of an electoral college needle threading and 20 years of misinformation and race baiting.

I won't pretend he doesn't have some perverse aura around him that draws people in, one that I hope won't extend past him into the next GOP monster, but I am not convinced.
