My street caved in over a year ago and someone from the city finally came around today to put up signs and let us know they're fixing it this week. So I go out to move my car and of course the battery's dead. I've started it and just let it run for bit a couple of times over the past few months but I guess not often enough. Looked through my Google timeline and turns out I haven't actually driven anywhere since smitty's funeral on 2/8!

Though you can get meat sliced at the supermarket deli here, it's not as common as it is in the Northeast. So our deli really has a small selection compared to what I remember from living in NJ and Philly.

Checked when I went to Publix today and it seems to be the opposite where I am. There was no Diet Dr. Pepper at all, but there was Diet Mountain Dew (though I did not buy any).

I'm maybe 5-10 years late on this in one's life cycle, but my new evening hobby is clicking through apts/condos to buy. I feel almost like an adult.

Unfortunately even if Trump completely tanks the nation's economy I don't think he can tank the real estate market here enough to make a difference.

I will eat and enjoy a burger with nice melty American cheese but I disagree with Kenji that other cheeses' flavor will "compete with a burger." Also I would suggest that cream cheese is excellent on a burger (though a bit messy) if you just want the cheesy mouthfeel without adding much flavor.

Deli provolone is my go-to burger cheese.
