Why is presliced prepackaged american "cheese" so dissimilar from deli sliced?

No idea, but the prepackaged American cheese style is creeping into the deli sliced around here. It’s horrible.

Two young people drowned in the ocean the last few days. An 18 year old from NY and a 23 year old from Clementon. Worst part about the summer here. So sad. Both died trying to rescue others who were swimming after lifeguards were off duty.

I just realized I'm getting killed on my electricity generation charges, I went out to the Pa marketplace and I don't know what I'm looking at here. Does it matter who I choose? There's like a thousand different providers, what can go wrong if I just pick the cheapest?

But seriously, I just looked at it and I'm paying $0.16500/KWH and there are places on the exchange offer under $.04/KWH so either there's a scam or a catch here or I'm getting killed, dropping my electric rate by over 75% doesn't seem like it can be real.

the two mainstays listening in on the adults talk at our family picnics when i was a kid were.... how to scheme and scam their employer through legal union loopholes for more pay, overtime and less work AND bitching about PECO. everyone has pretty much retired and don't know if that goes on anymore but it appears after all these years, PECO never changes. also city wage tax too. missing those summer family picnics. :(

Yeah, just .165 for generation delivery is .06527. I have NRG via PECO

youch. my distro is .06569 with my gen at .0655, totak 13.199 cents per kWh

"First Energy Solutions"

and no, it doesn't matter who you choose for the most part. You can go with one of the 'green' suppliers which is generally more expensive, and that force peco to get more of their power from renewables.

Do they all bill through PECO or would I wind up with separate bills? I was looking at one and there were some reviews from a few years ago that they had billing issues with the generation company having a different billing cycle than PECO (shorter, like 20 days or something) and it caused them to always be late on payments

always through peco, as far as i know. ah yes, says peco.

Yes. Whether you are purchasing your electricity and/or natural gas from a competitive supplier or from PECO, PECO will continue to safely deliver electricity and natural gas, provide billing and customer support, and respond to outages and other emergencies for ALL customers

Yeah, .165 is nuts. I pay like .058 plus .005 for transfer for like .063 total. And that's through PECO...not sure I can even do better than that apparently.
