Yes, he is melting down because he won't get the credit. Nor should he get any credit for the shitty 'open back up the economy' task force he put together of the chief grifters of his administration.

Realistically, trump has 3 things he could do here;
1- push for more testing (would mean his earlier claims were lies)
2- push for more PPE (would mean his earlier claims were lies)
3- push to open up economy and lead thru that sense of America roaring back
The governors took away the only thing trump had to really play with that doesn’t clearly expose him as a complete liar.
All while Bernie is out there endorsing and playing nice with Biden.
Great day.

This is a guy that has enough away in the Senate to push his leadership towards this.

everything; Senator Spurs Mastriano's bill is 6 pages
it would terminate the emergency declaration and allow everything to reopen provided they follow CDC guidelines (there's no enforcement mechanism)Penalty.--A person that does not comply with an order
5 under subsection (a) is subject to an administrative penalty of $500.
i imagine businesses will be OK with that amount
the bill expires after the next president is inaugurated because that makes sense.

It makes sense if you think Trump will lose and you want the Dem president to have something to deal with right off the bat that will effect lives and livelihoods, something that can be used to hit them with right off the bat.

That assumes Wolf won't veto this legislation.
Clearly he will.

Sad republicans put lives ahead of this election and still lost.

I would imagine so, but I was just responding to why it might make sense. If Wolf doesn't or can't, then the date makes sense.

She is really out there and I don't think understands how government works at all or what it takes to actually pass legislation unfortunately. She is passionate about important issues, but I think she was a net negative for Sander and continues to be.
