Went to the local wholesale club this morning. It looked like the grocery store does pre-holiday. TP was all but gone, with store-brand completely out of stock and only a little name-brand stuff left. There were also signs about a two-package limit per customer.

I really do have to buy more toilet paper. I'm on my last roll. Now I'm going to feel more self conscious than usual buying toilet paper with people thinking I'm just panicking over this. Also going to be really mad if I can't get any because someone just bought 8000 rolls.

there are still plenty of paper towels in the stores.

I hate to be that guy, but I do not see this anywhere including http://www.mlb.com

It is from this tweet? https://twitter.com/JeffPassan?ref_src= ... r%5Eauthor

I see tweets like this one conflating Passan's reporting into a done deal https://twitter.com/KLBKNews/status/123 ... gr%5Etweet

Don't get me wrong, I think it happens, and we are better for it. I am not sure my wife lets me go i it is still on.

If you want to play with scary numbers, have a read of this: https://www.marketwatch.com/story/coron ... 2020-03-09

Now the differences between who is effected most severely aside, the simple math is very scary. I am not sure how long it will take to understand the trending, estimate the margins, sort out a band of likely subjects, etc., but these raw projections are very, very bad.

Wow, Rudy Gobert

On Monday, Rudy Gobert joked with members of the media by making sure to touch all the microphones and recording devices reporters had placed on the table in front of him as he left a news conference.

On Wednesday night, he became Patient Zero for the NBA in the coronavirus crisis.
