Man, it’s going to be so cheap this spring, jump on the grand reopening deals.

Too soon?

Montgomery County officials have announced two additional presumptive positive coronavirus cases on Sunday, bringing the state total to 6.

Two individuals from the same household in Lower Merion Township are being treated for mild symptoms and are in isolation. They tested presumptive positive after known international exposure.

A man in Worcester and a woman in Lower Gwynedd Township are also being treated for the virus. Both individuals have mild symptoms and are currently in isolation at home. Each was exposed to the virus while traveling in an area of the United States where COVID-19 is present.

Montgomery County officials say all four residents do not require hospitalization.

Rep Paul Gosar had contact too. However he calls it the Wuhan Virus in his tweet I guess because making it a Chinese thing stirs racism for his base.

Emailed the people who report to me this afternoon emphasizing the importance of staying home if you're feeling under the weather, which might be important since they're young and maybe hanging out with the CPAC crowd.

I've got enough non perishable food that I could stay in my apartment for two weeks if needed.

Think the next few months might really suck.

Anecdotal $0.02 here but my wife is in her second trimester, just had an update appointment and her doctor brushed this off as media hysteria re: whether she should still be going to work, traveling, etc.

I do think a competent and consistent response from our government, rather than the clusterfuck of idiocy that we currently have, would go a long way towards putting this issue into perspective.

That is, the panic out there is more a response to Trump's incompetence than the virus.

There's an overwhelming chance the doctor is right. It's the disparity between great risk if wrong and limited reward if right.

And this is the right advice today, especially in a community where there have been so few cases.

And it's a bit of a strawman...is anyone really advocating not going to work (in PA)? Amazon had a confirmed case in Seattle and they're on self quarantine because they've had a bunch of confirmed cases.

Man, my wife had to respond to a late night call about closing a work site. Hysteria has risen to confusion between geography locations and specific places. In this case it is Quantico the place vs Quantico the Marine Base & FBI training center. There is a Marine on post being treated for COVID, but the office location is off the base, not that one person on a huge military facility should quarantine the whole area. Pretty nuts.

This coming weekend are the AR state high school basketball championship games. So far, not even a whisper about not letting fans in or anything like that. Of course, that makes sense, as we do not have any cases in Arkansas. There is a case in Memphis though, so I suppose it's just a matter of time. But I still think all the shutdowns are an over reaction.

Since it seems like it is widely available, perhaps it is more like we do not KNOW ABOUT any cases in Arkansas. I looked at the global map and notice that it is solidly all over the Americas with the exception of Venezuela and Panama. I think Venezuela probably does not know due to general chaos, and am highly suspicious of Panama's reporting.

Yes, part of the issue is without the test kits unless someone older gets it in your state that you may not know about it.
