I'm starting to think Parnas is trying to poison all this evidence because there was some crazy attorney client machinations going on and he may be breaking that privilege. People have asked what he is getting out of all of this when there is obviously no pardon coming and NY prosecutors have no reason to give him anything for this. He's either just pissed that Trump said he didn't know him or he's got some game going on. The more I read, the more I'm starting to think he's poisoning all this evidence.

Americans, ALL Americans, need to read that statement very closely, fully understand what Alexander is saying and then think about what the next five years will be like with completely unchecked presidential power.

At least he acknowledged what trump did was inappropriate. He’ll get attacked for that by some

I wonder who trump will call on Saturday?

Don’t know that I fully agree with that assessment and I think it would be a miracle if he lives another 5 years. Wonder if he tries to replace Pence with Trump Jr on the ticket

If he replaces Pence then it's going to be with Haley.

yeah, ready for her to lose.

no idea what trump being on the ticket is going to be like this fall. certainly fearful of the possibilities but hopeful he and many others can be sent packing in the face of republicans actively restricting the vote.

@ChadPergram
1) Multiple sources tell Fox scenarios are now emerging which could extend the Senate trial into next week - perhaps though the Iowa Caucuses and State of the Union.

“The Senate can only move as fast as its slowest member,” said one source.

Maybe Rand wants to order up some more attention.

Of course. There were never going to be four defections. And even three would look quite bad (I assume Pence gets to break that tie?) so this will be it. Romney and Collins given passes, everyone else falls in line.

Vice Presidents are not involved in impeachment. It would be up to Chief Justice Roberts, who would probably not break the tie and it would die a quiet death.

I think this years SOTU is already on track to be a wild card with what Trump would/could/will say. If the trial is still going on it is guaranteed to be the most insane STOU ever. Unhinged rally Don going biscuits from the Capital would be my minimum expectation.
