Farmers at stops throughout the eastern and western legs of the normally tranquil crop tour have expressed frustration with USDA - though less so with President Donald Trump, who they largely continue to support.

Just a little sanity check. USDA staff were threatened with physical violence in Nebraska. How prices for farm goods being lower, and farm equipment cost significantly up is somehow the USDA staff’s fault, not Tariff Man is beyond me.

Trump says he is seriously looking at ending birthright citizenship

But what about anchor babies Ivankna, Don Jr, Eric, and Baron?

Also hating on the constitution again since he is disrespecting the 14th Amendment.

I wonder what jackass is advising Agent Orange that he can alter the Constitution by executive order.

This is the guy who bankrupted 3 casinos multiple times.

It's beyond amazing that people don't understand the dynamics of how he used Chapter 11 to make himself a ton of money.

No, it’s perfectly clear. He abused bankruptcy courts and screwed over tons of small businesses/small business owners to make a lot of money for himself. Don’t act like it was shrewd, it may have technically been legal, but it was immoral as hell.

If you view it as immoral behavior your issue is with the lawmakers in Congress for creating the bankruptcy laws, not the business owners who simply follow the law to maximize their profits.

Adultery is legal so my wife’s moral issue should be with CONGRESS for permitting such an abomination and not with me who is just trying to grab every pussy which the law allows me.

Yeah, The Donald probably did use that line on one or all of his wives.

Just gonna copy/paste what I sent in a PM earlier about Trump in AC:

momadance wrote:He took the casinos public. The last bankruptcy after going public he was forced out as CEO and left with 5% per the settlement. He was given another 5% by the company to use his likeness because his brand was still good. But at that point point the shares were trading on the pink sheets.

Carl Ichan played him like a fiddle. Ichan ended up with all of the properties for about $20m. He closed Plaza and Taj. Ended up selling Taj to Hard Rock for $50m, Golden Nugget for $38m (Houston Rockets Owner) and he's still sitting on the Plaza. That alone should tell everyone how stupid he is.

He literally got robbed by Ichan, you know ... a guy who knows what he's doing. About a year after Ichan robbed him blind, he tried to buy back in but the NJ Casino Control Commission told him to fuck off. So the guy who made "millions" in AC didn't make squat. But his main creditor, Carl Ichan, sure did. Ichan is wiping his ass with Trump money and still sitting on the best property in AC, the beach at the end of the expressway.
brantt in 1914: actually child labor is fine and i am OBLIGATED BY THE MARKET to chop off their baby fingers in my machines because it maximizes my profit.

and republicans making a 'change the law' argument despite being basically a party for plutocrats designed to hinder the law as far as possible in order to enrich themselves is also very funny.
Better example than mine.

So what of it, Brantt: is the knowing use of child labor - or the willful ignorance of the use of child labor - in the US in 1914, or by US companies today anywhere in the world where it is permitted (looking at you Nike and Hershey), entirely morally excused by the, “it’s legal and my ‘moral’ obligation is to the monetary enrichment of myself and my shareholders” argument?

What's really mind blowing are people who believe he actually made money in AC when his AC holdings nearly destroyed him. Hard Rock had $38.7m in gaming revenue for the month of July. Trump's a genius. LOL.......LMAO.....OK..

After CNN decided not to include him in their climate change forum that was his idea (I think?), Jay Inslee is dropping out of the race

Are some of you really expecting ethical judgement and behavior from a modern republican, especially a Trumper?

The Haverford School's most famous alum is going to be running for Senate in Colorado now after dropping out of the race to face Trump.

It'll be interesting to see how many of the people running bow out. If more than one or two stay in, he'll romp in the primary. If one candidate gets the focus of the lefty donor community, it might become competitive. He went out of his way to be captain moderate during his brief prez run.

Seen two polls in the past two weeks with Hickenlooper up double digits on Gardner & over 50%, with the other Dem tested down mid single digits and under 40%. Though the other potential candidates are so unknown and Trump is so disliked in Colorado that I think Gardner is an underdog regardless of who he faces. Just much more of one vs. Hickenlooper.

Ballotpedia lists 14 (!!) candidates in the D primary without Hick.
