Call the non-emergency number. That is an easier go with the dispatcher to explain that there is some type of disruption, but it does not appear to be non-violent. This gives the hook of letting the police respond if they are not otherwise engaged. It also gives you piece of mind that they did not drop 10 cars on a situation while other emergencies blaze. If they have a few, they will still taze the hooligans as necessary.

You can pregame it too by talking with the shift commander or captain to have a squad car roll through about 0215 next week.

They told me to just call 911. They have people in the area specifically to deal with bars. I assume they just want dispatch to go through all that. I'll certainly make it clear when they pick up that it's not an emergency.

I had the same thought you did, just to see if they could have a car go by then, but they didn't bite.

I walked by a TV with CNN on it, I think the guy who was talking was Jeffrey toobin, but what he said is that you need to trust the New York times and 99,000 out of 1 million, for those keeping score at home that's 9.9%. I'm thinking that was not exactly what the guy was after.

I just watched two people slowly turn tight circles in a car so that they could fake they were walking to play Pokemon go. It's so freaking pathetic to see people drag their car along at a few miles an hour rather than just get out and walk the damn circles.
