god bless you grote... i've haven't returned to my HS, well it's like a middle school now, since i was 25 or so. so much time has passed and so many things have happened in life that honestly i don't think i could really handle it all emotionally. for those who stayed close to their neighborhood there is the gradual change, for those of us that moved on, you really start to lose that bond you once had at almost an exponential rate. it's really weird to be afraid of a place that you once had a lot of real good memories.

I hear you on that. I moved around a lot as a kid, but this area was my home base from age 14-24. Then I bounced around again for 18 years. So it's held a special place for me, and will now be the only home my kids remember

Google maps is a goddamn narc. I went somewhere yesterday to pick up a gift card for my gf's birthday and I get a notification a few hours later saying 'how was your visit to X [a place I'd never go myself so it's not exactly discrete]'? Not sure if she saw it or not.

Girls like candles! Girls (and guys) like booze!

Also we get zero cross ventilation in our place so you sear two goddamn chicken thighs and bam EAU DE POLLO for 4 days.

As always, azrider is concerned with everyone’s health, finances and family, and with that being said, please don’t eat those pig ear dog treats. It’s no secret that when we buy these for a dog, it’s no different than buying your girlfriend or wife Madden 20 for her birthday.

https://people.com/pets/pig-ear-dog-treats-salmonella-outbreak-cdc/

In an update on Thursday, the CDC explained that the number of individuals sickened by the outbreak had risen to 143. No deaths have been reported, but 33 of the individuals have been hospitalized. Twenty-six of the illnesses are among children younger than 5 years old.

So in the meantime until this gets settled, I recommend having to go back to eating pork rinds. Don’t have the same texture or signature taste, but you won’t get the shits for days on end.

There's a headline on Google News which links to a video uploaded yesterday on the LA Times YouTube channel about Charles Manson being moved into a hospital. Um....
How dare you interrupt my Lime Rickey!

Not that SNL wouldn't pointlessly stretch it out, but it's really one joke and the sketch would best run less than a minute.

It does however remind me of the sketch where Belushi played Elizabeth Taylor on a Weekend Update interview where she started choking and had to heimlich herself.
