Don’t ask me how or why, but a few months back I went down this YouTube rabbit hole of Catholic videos for a while, just finding really weird stuff. I grew up going to church, but not Catholic, so it all seemed so over the top. I didn’t realize there were so many out there still buying into the superstition. Anyway, this priest in particular seems to be very well known and highly regarded among Catholics, and I got a laugh out his opinion on Harry Potter.

Driving through the Target parking lot and I hear some uncertain sound...look over and it's a woman on the phone who seemingly had received some terrible news as she was basically wailing and had dropped to a crouch with her hand over her mouth. Nothing you can do as a bystander there but feels bad, man.

oh man. that is so hard.

had an event in the spring where one of the vendors running a table was standing behind the dumpster absolutely destroyed. crying, shaking. fortunately she was there with two coworkers who we let know what was going on. turns out her father had died (he lived overseas in Africa somewhere). very sad.

that's one of the main reasons it costs so much to go to a show these days. Used to be you'd tour to promote your new release- now you make new releases to promote your tour.

that's a good thing bucky. the labels have been ripping off bands for years with their deals and the RIAA has been terrorizing small businesses for years too.

i said it 20 years ago and at least it's true for me, i have been and go to more shows because i have and had access to their music very cheaply or back in the day free.
