As long as the sub making processes is nothing like watching a baby being born you will probably survive to wrote your own review.

On Tuesday I deleted everything political from my social media and podcast feeds. I feel kind of bad but also markedly better

Yeah I stopped listening to political podcasts a few months ago and just scroll on by anything political people post. It all just feeds the outrage machine and no one changes their mind.

It's good to stay informed...but you can do that without being inundated 24/7 and being part of THE DISCOURSE

I'm debating dumping all social media. Already deleted facebook.

I never really got caught up in things since virtually all of my twitter/facebook stuff is about running or track and field (well my personal twitter is more restaurants/environmental/cultural but no one pays attention to that anyonway, least of all me. But lately there's a set of people who keep dredging up from whatever source they can find anything about transgender or intersex track and field competitors (they make no distinction) and playing up the few instances as "the death of women's sports" for, y'know, reasons, most of which have nothing to do with fairness of competition. they don't seem to care that their hatred shines through, and it's managing to spoil the last reserve of non-political discourse I enjoyed.

How did M&Ms get away for so long with using the slogan "melt in your mouth, not in your hand," when they so clearly do?

I know it's pretty cliche to say it anymore, but social media is generally terrible.

I was thinking about Douglas Adams the other day, and how his example of the babel fish "by effectively removing all barriers to communication between different cultures and races, has caused more and bloodier wars than anything else in the history of creation." I think Twitter is a lot like that, not only allowing but encouraging people to express their thoughts without filter or concern for how it will be received by others.

Though I also thought that if he had a Twitter account I would definitely follow it.

If Pierce Brosnan (Stu) was so allergic to pepper, why would he order a jambalaya at Bridge's restaurant in Mrs. Doubtfire?

The 73-year-old (Kathy) Kehoe says she noticed the lateral spot commonly found on cobras, grabbed a shovel and nudged its tail. When it rose and spread its hood, she realized it was a cobra. That’s when she decided to kill it.

“I knew what I was doing was dangerous, I’m not a fool,” she said in a phone interview on Tuesday. “I just acted. I thought of the kids and other people in this community and I said ‘I can’t let this thing get away.’

That was in FAIRLESS HILLS.

thing has been slithering around for a while.

Her apartment complex in Fairless Hills, about 30 miles northeast of Philadelphia, is the same one where officials removed 20 venomous snakes from another apartment in March. Officials aren’t sure if the cobra had escaped from that unit.
