The good folks at the Villageshelp remind me where some of the problems are. The one person interviewed says he does not have any evidence of lying by Trump, and another has no idea that the economy has been fetter, often better, over the course of her life. Maybe it is 'the pox', but sadly maybe not.

Yeah, saw this clip a couple days ago and thought it perfectly encapsulated what we always say about Trump voters; how there is nothing Trump can say or do that will change their minds come Election Day.

I think it's really unlikely he would win the nomination. In Alabama you have to get 50%+1 to avoid a runoff, so he can't skate with a plurality. Seen numbers where Moore's image was a bit underwater with GOP primary voters, he was at like 20 in the full ballot, and couldn't break out of the mid 30s in potential runoffs. When you're already universally known, those are tough things to fix.

this is correct. Will likely make it to the runoff and then lose to the other GOP candidate.

Can the chicken hawks really go against trump? I mean, this is an obvious result of an incompetent cic, who probably changed his mind after a phone call from Hannity, but can they say it out loud and risk angering the Republican base?

He's so fragile. His pal Hannity was already saying that that Trump was going to flatten the country. Bolton, Graham, etc. are beating those war drums, and Graham was calling for action with his tough choices of not looking weak.

What do you thing "the base" wants? Action or inaction? I think the first, so that would put them on the same page.
