Agree 100%. I need a new one, partially because I can't figure out how to restring the fucking thing and partially because mine is corded and it's awful to deal with.

Don't they make ones with blades instead of string? Or maybe that's just for clearing really thick brush.

I have a cordless one that I paid about $100 or so for. Also, instead of restringing I can just buy a pre-spooled cartridge if needed.

I have a cordless one that I paid about $100 or so for. Also, instead of restringing I can just buy a pre-spooled cartridge if needed.

Sames, but the material in my spool is not very tough so i have to stop every 5 minutes or so to let more out

My recurring nightmare is when the string breaks inside the head and i have to open it up and pull it back out again. Mine has a bump feature that makes lengthening simple, but that doesn't help when the string is inside. I have .080 on there right now but it can take up to .095. Maybe if I put that on it won't break so much.
