Shortbread cookies are addictive.

It is best to just eat them all and get it over.

Butter. Lots of butter in those cookies.

Seriously.

There are other possibilities, but I do not believe rain has been shown to do that.

Pin worms yes

Rain no.

I used to have pretty bad allergies but have been getting shots for the past 6 years and now they are basically just seasonal that I control with nose spray (Flonase) and pills (Allegra) as needed. I know that I need to take an Allegra when my scrotum starts to itch. No idea why. It makes no sense and I refuse to bring it up to my allergy doc. I can go weeks with no pill but then I get the itch, I take a pill and it goes away.

I don't know how to break this to you... but you're getting yourself a case of the hemorrhoids. Really don't want to go into the other symptoms that may follow, but you might want to get it checked out if it continues for more than a day.

had yet another follow up procedure today post wisdom tooth removal. debrided the extraction site on the left (basically removed all the tissue that was not healing properly). More soft food in my future.

Anyhow, the reason I bring this up is because of the local anesthesia. When he gave me the injections 3 weeks ago at the original extractions I thought my heart was gonna beat right out of my chest and I became short of breath. Geez, I though, I never had any kind of medical anxiety before. Same needle today, same reaction. I mentioned it- oh, that isn't anxiety he says, the anesthesia has epinephrine in it, that'll do that sometimes. good to know i'm not about to die.

Great day at the gym. Strength gains all around. Legs feel like steel springs ready to pounce. Probably have to credit the influx of carbs from the shortbread cocaine cookies.

Hand sanitizer is 99.99999999999999999%* if left on skin 30 seconds to 5 minutes depending on brand. That * really actually means something.

It means you are using your hand sanitizer wrong. All brands need longer contact then anyone gives it. You are in the range of 5-10% effective with the squirt and rub routine. It was curious learning, especially with the idea that you could need 5 minutes of contact.

BTW - This is the random thread bucky, not the explainer thread.

ok, in the explainer thread could you describe the right way to use it? Are you supposed to submerge your hands in it for 5 minutes?

You're supposed to use enough so your hands stay wet(ish) for an extended period of time.

So I could either have hand sanitizer (side effect: dries skin, often opening cracks, which provide easy entry for germs into your body) on my hands rendering them useless for 5 minutes, or I could spend 30 seconds thoroughly washing my hands.

I have been doing it properly all along. What do I win??

The proper way to apply hand sanitizer:
Make sure all organic matter like dirt and grease are removed from your hands.
Apply a dime-size amount to the palm of one hand.
Rub your hands together, covering all surfaces of both hands, including between your fingers and up around your fingertips and nails. Rub hands together for 30 seconds to allow your hands to completely absorb the product and the hand sanitizer to completely dry. Don’t touch food or anything until your hands are dry.
