well, i really had to struggle to spend 70 bucks for a snow shovel, but since I bought it it's been perfect for the two smaller snowfalls that we've had, and it's saved me probably an hour each time.

Oh man, I just checked and CHiPS is available on Amazon Prime. I think I remember checking a while ago and it wasn't on there (nor is it on Netflix or Hulu). Loved that show, but kind of afraid to watch it now since I'm sure it won't live up to my memories.

Some of the cars they wreck is depressing. You can make a game out of spotting production gaffes. You don't get freeze frames during the credits like that anymore. The Bruce Jenner episodes make me sad the realization didn't come while he still had great hair.

I just finished the pilot. Enjoyed it!

Very first scene Ponch wipes out in the dirt pretty hard at like 60 MPH, which Jon got quite a laugh out of as he keeps going, unconcerned that his partner could be seriously injured or dead. Ponch gets back on his bike to resume the chase. At the end of it, not a single scratch or speck of dirt on either him or the bike. Amazing. Ponch also made some inappropriate advances on a woman trapped in a wrecked car.

After months of having no regular work I had been assigned a long term dev project that would have kept me busy for a while. Client cancelled it, they can't provide data fast enough for automation to be required so instead of developing an automated ETL solution they're just going to have someone do data entry. Thinking about asking my boss if I can just take a few days off.
