We just heard back from Xxxxx and unfortunately she still doesn’t have all of the paperwork approvals squared away on her end. She apologized sincerely because she thought she already had all of the approvals she needed, and would have never offered you the assignment if she thought there was still outstanding approvals on the Xxx side. Given that, we would feel better if we continued to pursue other potential assignments for you until we get the green light, and I’ve told Xxxx that would likely be the plan.

On behalf of Xxx, I apologize that you are caught in the middle of this situation. Xxx has made some changes to their processes since the beginning of the year and many of the managers were not aware that it would impact their organizations, or budgets and work that was previously approved.
