The RANDOM rantings, ravings, and THOUGHTS of internet loons

You know, if companies are going to make reduced fat/low sugar/whatever versions of their food, they need to make the packing look much different than their regular (i.e. flavorful) versions. This way you don’t accidentally buy the wrong one, get home, open it, try a cookie and wonder “why does this cookie taste like cardboard?” only to then notice the little “Reduced Fat” label in the corner of the package. So FLIPPIN’ ANGRY right now!

I forget who it was but someone had a post that had the word sublime in it. I 've been listening to sublime songs for like a hour now. Having a Friday.

The low fat fad birthed by BIG SUGAR when they paid Harvard scientists in the 60s led to TWO generations of Diabetics.

Medium fat
Low sugar
High glycemic index

Those on fatty diets live longer. The ORIGINAL studies said so, but they were trumped.

Some people can't take caffiene. Caffiene does lead to a higher miscarry rate.

Other than that, caffiene is good for most people.

And while we are at it. Gluten enteropathy is the only reason to avoid gluten. Period.!

In France, one has the right to lie at one’s trial. There is no offense of perjury

That must make things interesting.

I don't think there's a presumption of innocence thought, and I don't know if they have an adversarial system either.

thanks guys, yeah, i've used lots of local dry cleaners/tailors, but as busy as this week is I was hoping for one-stop shopping. We have our suits, and will likely wear them Monday with our cuffs dragging a little because it's too much hassle to get to another stop.

Besides posting in the eagles GDT, my biggest accomplishment will be getting more than half of yesterday's NYT crossword.
