I never thought about the plan to go see the troops... there was no plan... just a calculation to raise some positive press while trapped in DC.

If Mar-a-Lago was available, he would have been in Florida.

There had to be a plan. Too much security prepapartion necessary not to have a plan.

They likely didn’t tell trump in fear he’d tweet about it. Trump likely didn’t know until he was told they were landing...not in Florida.

There are a healthy THREE DOZEN sealed indictments at the Fed District Court.

Mueller has let it leak they are targeting Feb for the release of a report.

That would NOT mean Mueller is finished. There are many prosecutorial issues ongoing.

If this works correctly, the Donald will become apprised of the likelihood of a unanimous vote against him and resign by the summer. That will come with a deal regarding the multiple state prosecutions.

Elizabeth Warren has not proven that she can not stay out of her own way. Almost Trump like is he uncanny ability to skip taking the win in favor of intentionally tripping over what should be a non-issue she stupidly brought up Trumps talking point about her genetic heritage. Just why? She is effective 80% of the time, but that other 20% is the killer.

I realize that Obama was a generational-type political figure and the Dems are not likely to catch lightning in a bottle again anytime soon but they need to put up somebody who voters can get at least mildly excited about supporting. It is not good enough to have someone that is just not Trump. We did that in '16 with Clinton. She only got my vote because she wasn't DJT and I suspect that I was not alone.

She has great policy and this is what I care about.
