Unfortunately, 99% of the country doesn't care about that as much.

It is a long haul. I do think Warren will get the nomination and the Presidency.

If Warren convinces Bernie not to run, you may just be right.

You guys need to get out more. Red staters (especially women) think of Warren as Hillary with glasses and a higher voice.

Here's my theory--a competitive primary is the best way to figure out which candidate is most electable. Party elites (especially Democratic party elites) think they can pick the best candidate, but it turns out they suck at it. Let Democratic voters decide.

I'm not entirely sure this is true--Warren has true anti-Wall Street bona fides, unlike HRC. And I think she comes out ahead in her feud with McConnell as well. To be sure, Trumpy women aren't going to be convinced by it, but "Nevertheless she persisted" is a good rallying call for the Suburban women who have been defecting from the R party in droves.

Yeah, the DNA test was a dumb move, but I don't think it's disqualifying.

Confessing to multiple sexual assaults certainly wasn't so you're probably correct.

who is though? Nobody really stands out to me. I agree with TV. Let's go with who the people pick and take our chances. I thought picking clinton was dumb because of the 30 years of (mostly fake) baggage. I'm not sure who to pick right now. Plenty of time for that to sort out. If nothing else, warren will be out there speaking about issues that I care about and sticking it to Donald over the next year. That alone is worth her running. She doesn't have to stay in if it doesn't look good for her.

Am I too cynical in thinking that a woman or minority would not be a great bet and that the better chance at victory is just an old white guy?

I care about winning. No policy ideas matter until you hold the position. She's not the most likely to win.

She has no chance.

There are 4 states that matter: PA, Mi, Wi and Minn. Win those and hold VA and Co and you win. Period. Fuck Texas and NC and GA. Those are pipedreams. Biden/Klobachur wins you the presidency easily. Or Biden/Duckworth/. Anything else is fools gold

Not necessary. Win Pa, Mn, Mi, Wi, Col, Va and NM and you can lose everything else that is close. Ohio, Fla, Tx, Iowa...everything
