I'm no legal expert (of course) and I have long thought that this whole thing is going to amount to a lot of underlings going to jail all while swearing dear leader had no knowledge and nothing at all to do with anything (see: Reagan, Christie), but even to my jaundiced eye in such matters, and even with my being 100% certain Cohen is not to be trusted no matter what he says about anything, this looks like some serious deep water for Trump to me.

Honestly, I'm afraid they'll never get Trump. He won't/can't be indicted, the Republicans in the Senate will never impeach him, he'll never resign, no matter what the pressure, and he'll let everyone go to jail -- including his family -- before he'll ever give up.

Cohen was the supposed high powered attorney who was trundling around the Ukraine trying to make peace, I presume at the bidding of the lord and master Vladimir Putin.

Hopefully the Donald will turn state's evidence against Putin in an attempt to save his ass. That will fix all of this. Except the Donald will also no longer be President and will serve some length of prison term. For sure he will not be grabbing any one's you know what in orange and black.

That's quite possible. The Kavanaugh confirmation may have sealed that deal. But he'll have charges waiting for him when he's done and dems can run out the clock with control of the House, crippling him and the corrupt GOP in the process. Wait to they start looking into the NRA and it's ties to this whole thing. And other members of the GOP are also vulnerable. Graham didn't go full Trump for nothing. He received money from a Russian oligarch, too.

But yeh, there's a lot of work to be done. It's just that now the dems can go on the offensive.

Deutsche Bank offices were raided today over the Panama Papers and laundering money. A lot of this stuff also ties back to Putin. Like the Chicago raid, don't be surprised if the timing of this is no coincidence.

I heard this morning that the NRA membership dropped like 22% and revenues were off something like $55M, but like Trump they deny it and say they’ve never been better off. The financials are from their mandatory filings.

I'm not sure. I thought he would try, but I'm not sure it will save him at this point. If it won't save him, he probably won't bother getting another potential charge against himself. But maybe he will try for Ivanka. I'm actually surprised he let it get this close to him without doing something. Maybe he's been told by GOP lawmakers that they won't tolerate it, I don't know.

I thought I read where they didn't have money and someone official in the NRA expressed concern that they wouldn't be able to pay for all the legal fees they're getting. Maybe it was a way to get more donations, assholes.

Now that I think about it, I read something where they got rid of free coffee for employees or something like that. People were sending "thoughts and Prayers," to the poor employees who lost their coffee.

Well that is interesting because just four months ago the NRA filed a lawsuit against New York state claiming that it was facing "financial ruin" due to Cuomo's policies.
