I’m about to leave to play pickle ball with, among others, a 78 year-old who plays 3 times a week for 2 to 2 1/2 hours a pop. I’ll inform him from you that he should put his affairs in order immediately.

In August he tweeted, "California wildfires are being magnified & made so much worse by the bad environmental laws which aren’t allowing massive amounts of readily available water to be properly utilized. It is being diverted into the Pacific Ocean. Must also tree clear to stop fire from spreading!"
Fire officials said Trump's statements, and remedies, were incorrect.
"We have plenty of water to fight these fires," Deputy Cal Fire Chief Scott McLean said in a statement in August. Nonetheless, the Trump administration announced it would override the Endangered Species Act to provide extra water -- not needed by the fire crews.

He’s not taking a break from the election, he skipped a service to honor the fallen from WWI due to some weather. He’s a selfish old asshole.

With Palm Beach and Broward mostly finishing up, Scott's lead is down to 12.5k. Nelson will need that undervote thing in Broward to be a machine read problem and not a people skipped the race because they designed the ballot poorly problem otherwise Landslide Rick strikes again.

Bitumen is the product of oil sands. It is the same consistency as hot asphalt.

Really.

It is terribly polluting to process, and also requires processing to send it through a pipeline.

No one needs bitumen processed into gasoline, or anything else.

It really is painful how fucking stupid our president is. While "poor forest management" may or may not be a contributing cause to the size and speed of these fires, I can name at least three "no reasons" for them - drought, wind and low humidity. And in case our imbecile in chief is not aware, the forest service has nothing to do with any of those factors.

I threw it out Wednesday, but how did the Dems not find a way to pull out something against Hunter or Collins. Hunter is really disappointing because his transparent hate & scare tactic should have repulse true humans. Not sure what happened in the Collins race. Then again a dead Dennis Hof crushed Lesia Romanov, so worse thing can happen to the loser.

If I'm looking at the right numbers Hunter's district was +15 Trump and +23 Romney so getting it to +7 is in line with the generic polling. You would think that the indictment would have helped more, but it was still a strong showing.

Some huge pile of vets are not getting their GI Bill benefits.After Trump singed the "Forever GI Bill' but did not fund any infrastructure improvements to deal with the massive expansion of the program. Over 80,000 vets are known to be effected by failures to the housing portion of the GI bill. It is unknown the total number or magnitude of the delays, or outright failure of the program in total. It is putting veterans in difficult positions financially, with them making choices to try to avoid homelessness and financial ruin.
