just had a back and forth on FB with a guy who I'm actually friendly with and is a Trumpie now. he is CONVINCED Ford is a liar because why didn't she come out 36 years ago?! he just sidesteps the idea that women/girls may not be in a position to report earlier. Somehow this guy he never heard of until a few months ago now MUST be voted on next week. If it's not it's derailing it.
He watches FOX News. what a brainwashing outfit. it also turns out he thinks i'm intolerant. good to know.

The reaction she’s getting from the Right shows why she didn’t make it public 36 years ago. Also Kavanaugh would hhave been a bit young then to be a SC justice.

I don't really follow you here or know what the goal or goalposts would be. I'm also not trying not to pick a fight
I was just saying, in response to multiple posts preceding yours mentioning "the right," "GOP," and "Republicans," that both sides have shown pretty conclusively that they won't cede major goals at the Federal level over past allegations of sexual violence
