I've dealt with that plenty of times. They say they guarantee two days from the time it leaves their facility, not from the time you order.

Pretty sure my cat will have died by the time I get home from work.

She's 19 and has been getting fluid injections every other day for 2 years now for her kidneys. She got an eye infection about a month ago that hasn't healed with antibiotics, stopped using her litter box the last few days, and stopped eating last night. We planned on putting her down this weekend but I don't think she makes it that long. She had a good run. My poor girlfriend was in tears this morning.

My Dad is having his prostate yanked out today.

Damn, that sucks man. You lost your other cat recently too, sorry man, hope she she holds out for you to get home.

So sorry. My old cat died last summer. Had been wasting away for unknown reasons, but was was lively, eating, interacting with everybody and then just said "screw it" and climbed into a basket full of winter hats and gloves until she passed away a few hours later. Easiest death of a a pet I've had to deal with, which doesn't mean it was easy at all.

Been hoping for the last week that she would go quick. Hasn't been the case. Hopefully it's today since I'm off tomorrow.

I buy used, like new stuff all the time from amazon if it's shipped/sold by warehouse deals and says that it comes in the original packaging but packaging may be damaged.

I've only ever gotten brand new stuff in jacked up boxes.

The other day, we had a pair of boots delivered to us from Amazon. Nothing in our order history and no data as to where or to whom they should go.

Amazon may have grown too fast in too many different directions. It was great when it was an on-line bookseller. If it weren't for the streaming, I'd cancel prime too.

I think it makes most of its profit from cloud computing. Perhaps it spins off the e-commerce stuff and the streaming stuff into new entities.

I haven’t noticed too big a change in 2 day service I just checked my order history and all of the last batch of orders were delivered in 2 days.

as if on cue, i had something due today and they just emailed and said nah, tomorrow

still doesn't come close to a lowe's order i placed last wednesday. said friday delivery. friday it changed to monday with tracking info. all day monday the package was in buffalo. finally in the evening they changdd it to tuesday. it made it out for delivery today but about a half hour ago the said PSYCHE it's coming tomorrow.

Keep us posted on all the details of this delivery

Gonna have to one-up ya on that. I ordered a Pixel 3 XL directly from Google on Black Friday 11/23. It supposedly shipped from Illinois on Monday 11/26 with an original scheduled delivery of 11/27. That never happened so it was rescheduled for 11/28. That never happened and the scheduled delivery date changed to "pending". Got updates saying it was in Ohio and then Maryland, and then the scheduled delivery date changed to 12/3. That didn't happen so it changed to today, and the location updated from Maryland to Philly. So of course about 30 minutes or so ago it was rescheduled to tomorrow. This is FedEx Ground btw. Worst shipping/tracking experience I can recall in my life. I'm pretty annoyed and going kinda stir crazy sitting around the house, but at least I didn't have to take off work or anything.

yep, fedex ground for my lowe's order also. fedex is generally awful in general, which i believe is due to their drivers being ic's and not FTE's.

There's not even an option to have them leave it at the distro center or a FedEx store or whatever and go pick it up myself!
