He’d have to have been undercover in jail for awhile. I imagine that’s not too easy.

Their lawyers have been communicating regularly and he's had unusual communication rules in place for a while. But yeh, I can't imagine his lawyers have been helping him break the law. Oh wait, yes I can. Weren't they helping him do something weird with emails a month or so ago and he was chastised for it? Anyway, probably not, but he did contact people to lie for him after his arrest, so it's possible he had some clandestine thing set up and they found out about it and asked him to use it for something undercover. Nothing would surprise me at this point. The guy has giant balls.

Pence is only VP because Putin, I mean manafort, pretty much insisted on it. Then pence covered for Flynn and helped with the comey firing cover story. If Trump goes down, Pence will too. Not at the same time though, so pence may be able to pick the next president. It will probably be some white supremacist who hates the gays.

oh dear lord you guys are crazy

Manafort being undercover makes no sense whatsoever, why on earth would he lay out that much money on a trial if he was? The negotiations for the cooperation agreement took 2 days and it was last week.

The chances of the Senate becoming blue are 1 in 3 right now and the chances of getting 53 seats is less than 1%

Unless Manafort knows something about Pence that we don't know, the chances of him going down are extremely slim

you forget just how unpopular Nixon was when Ford pardoned him, cost him the election though so I suppose that may be the biggest reason Pence wouldn't pardon him
