He’s actually doing a very good job of undermining the credibility of the entire US justice system in anticipation of charges against him. Let that sink in a moment: The POTUS, leader of the free world and top justice officer in the country is undermining the legal bedrock of our country just to save his own orange, tanned hide.

This may seem overly hyperbolic, and I'm sure it is, but I still remember the night of the election and Trump wading out at 3 a.m., looking like he had seen a ghost. I assume he knew that night that a week like this was entirely possible.

I take some solace in the idea that a man who lived and breathed to make his name a brand has pretty much guaranteed that his name will be synonymous with stupidity and corruption. It will probably end up in the dictionary as both a noun and a verb related to being a complete fuckup and/or traitor.

Man, that guy really trumped that bank robbery.

Allen Weisselberg, CFO of the Trump Org was granted immunity for providing information on Michael Cohen in the criminal investigation. Trump and the kids are in trouble.

They have the fixer, the financial gatekeeper, and the tabloid guy. There aren’t many other pieces that can protect them from liability from the plethora of financial crimes the Trumps have undoubtedly committed.
