Trump: 1000 Eagles fans invited to the WH to participate in Trumpfest featuring the National Anthem

WH Staff Leak: It is shaping up to be a few dozen WH staffers to dress in NFL gear and support the photo op

FFS! That's funny.

Fire up the tweet machine @realdonald:

"We have had many Championship teams recently at the White House including the Chicago Cubs, Houston Astros, Pittsburgh Penguins, New England Patriots, Alabama and Clemson National Champions, and many others."

Seems like he forgot NASCAR's Martin Truex -- because he posted another tweet later including the driver's name.

"...@NASCAR and Champion @MartinTruex_Jr were recently at the White House. It was a great day for a great sport!"

Rudy Giuliani denied Monday that the disclosure by Donald Trump's attorneys that the President dictated a crucial statement on the infamous June 2016 Trump Tower meeting -- a reversal from past denials -- constituted a lie, instead claiming it was a routine mistake.
"It was a mistake," Giulani, a lawyer for Trump in the Russia investigation, said on CNN's "Cuomo Prime Time" Monday. "I swear to God, it was a mistake."

Rudy is just so bad. If you want to go to the big house, get him to rep you.

the Prime Minister of Jordan resigned after mass protests against austerity:

Last month, the Jordanian government introduced an income tax bill aimed at widening the tax base, increasing tax brackets and penalizing tax evaders.

The tax reform bill, which is driven by the International Monetary Fund, aims to reduce public debt to from 96% of gross domestic product to 77% by 2021.

Members of parliament have vowed to reject it, refusing to vote on the bill. Trade unions rejected the bill and called for the general strike.

On Saturday, King Abdullah urged his government "to lead a comprehensive, rational, national dialogue to reach a consensus on the draft income tax law that does not fatigue the public, combats evasion and improves efficiency of tax collection," according to a statement issued by the Royal Hashemite Court.

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) — Anti-corruption investigators questioned the wife of former Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak on Tuesday about alleged theft and money-laundering involving the 1MDB state investment fund, as officials announced a probe into other suspicious multibillion-dollar transactions under Najib's leadership.

The prosecution of Najib and his wife Rosmah Mansor over the 1MDB scandal, which helped lead to Najib's stunning ouster in May 9 national elections, could be sped up with the government's appointment Tuesday of a new attorney-general.

The appointee, distinguished lawyer Tommy Thomas, is the first person from outside Malaysia's Malay majority to hold the powerful position in more than half a century. His Najib-appointed predecessor had stifled investigations

Najib set up the 1MDB fund when he took power in 2009 but it accumulated billions in debts. U.S. investigators say Najib's associates stole and laundered $4.5 billion from the fund from 2009 to 2014, some of which landed in Najib's bank account. They say $27.3 million was used to buy a rare diamond necklace for Rosmah.

New Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad reopened investigations into 1MDB that were suppressed under Najib's rule. He has also banned the couple from leaving the country. The country's new anti-graft chief has said Najib, who denies any wrongdoing, could soon face criminal charges.

So investigations were suppressed under his rule? Trump is salivating.

oh

Cuban, an outspoken critic of Donald Trump, has previously said his decision whether to run hinges on whether his wife and family would allow it.

I would run as a "Republican before Democrat and most likely independent," Cuban said at The New York Times DealBook Conference in November.

"I think there is an incremental value for setting up an independent candidacy," he added in November. "The benefit of being an independent is you go right to the golden ticket time, if I get enough support in the polls then I get to participate in the debates."

i'm not sure this is how multilateral talks work:

President Donald Trump is “seriously considering” breaking up joint talks with Canada and Mexico to rewrite the North American Free Trade Agreement in favor of parallel, bilateral negotiations, White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow said.

"His preference now, he asked me to convey this, is to actually negotiate with Mexico and Canada separately," Kudlow said Tuesday during an interview on Fox News. "I know this is just three countries but still, you know, oftentimes when you have to compromise with a whole bunch of countries you get the worst of the deals."

Cuban running would almost certainly bolster the Dems chances of winning the White House in 2020.

He would likely siphon off some Trump voters who voted for a "maverick" in 2016 and would prefer a less shitty alternative the next time around. I don't see Cuban appealing to many Bernie Bros or Hillary supporters.

I like Cuban. I voted for Bernie in the primary and Hillary in the general. If Cuban ran as a Dem I would definitely consider supporting him (depending on other candidates). If he ran as an Independent probably not just because it would likely be a wasted vote. If he ran as a Republican and managed to defeat Trump in the primaries I would consider voting for him if the Dems put up a weak candidate.

Just the opinion of one Bernie/Hillary supporter.
