Individual Mandate is gone and great, less expensive plans will be announced this month. Drug prices coming down & Right to Try!

I'm pretty most agree that Trump and the GOP meddling in healthcare has had a negative effect and voters agree (see: Virginia, exit poll data, Google search trends, etc.). Keep trying to repeal the ACA though, have that beer toast ceremony at the 50 yard line.

- given cheaper health plans that cover nothing
- allow the young and healthy, until they are not, to skip health care
- allow the poor to have healthcare
- shred the American reputation globally
- inject uncertainty into the markets
- poison our relationships with our allies
- disrupt productive north american business relationships
- threaten farmers livelihoods by cropping up trade wars
- allowing massive tax breaks for the wealthy that will never be reinvested in the proletariat
- grandstanding about the low unemployment without understanding that a huge portion of it is based on retiring baby boomers
- giving his all to end the greatest experiment in democracy the world has ever seen by insisting on his monarchy views of leading the nation
- but judges that could carry this authoritarian style, or at least turn a blind eye to it, have been placed after years of inaction by his party to defeat Obama

Only 500 days people.

I left off a bunch of goodies like screwing the environment, damaging the ability to monitor what that screwing does to the planet by kicking out the scientists and cancelling programs, militarizing the police forces, setting up showdowns with law enforcement, destroying citizens faith in federal institutions by defaming career civil servants, crushing the credibility of the IC, weakening the FBI, causing doubt about the legitimacy of the election (except for his own), etc.

President's legal team put together a latter that Trump dictating JRs letter is a private matter and not for the special counsel, or anyone else to investigate.

He does have the best words though.. too bad he doesn't have the best spelling. Also, he really needs to get a U.S. Constitution.

110 trips to his private clubs, with ~96 likely golf outings

Going to Mar a Lago alone has cost more then the Meuller investigation!

Cake Shop wins, they can argue that they can discriminate against a gay person because their religion mandates it:

"Whatever the confluence of speech and free exercise principles might be in some cases, the Colorado Civil Rights Commission's consideration of this case was inconsistent with the State's obligation of religious neutrality. The reason and motive for the baker's refusal were based on his sincere religious beliefs and convictions."

i'd like to know how narrow the ruling was (i.e. can they refuse to serve completely? is it ok to say 'i wont make you a cake but ill do cupcakes or whatever' like this shop did'?)

also it was 7-2 (ginsburg, sotomayor obv)

apparently it's narrow; they basically can go appeal the Colorado decision again and this time Colorado is supposed to factor in 'sincere religious beliefs'

but wouldn't that then mean that the cake is baked on this, so to speak? they'll have to then affirm they can deny service because the Bible says so
