Take heart that Don's dude Saccone got bumped. Cross marketing opportunity for LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton Group's PINK (properly Thomas PINK, but that is hard to fit on apparel) with a PINK Wave campaign. Girl Power!

sad to think that someone at the upper echelons did not see that coming, I mean everyone else saw that outcome. Its the same/same. I am sure that the actual professionals not only saw it, but predicted it, and supported that prediction with facts.

WRT "they" hating Bolton, I do not think you are not going to find many thinking players on the international stage who come with a lot of respect for his ideals. Then again, this was what our own internal BSG polling as well.

Dude is trash. Finding it hard to envision a scenario in which he wins given the national climate but god, it would be such a disaster for this state if he did.

I did not mean that first sentence as a joke relating to his business but here we are.

Again, the issue with these stories is that they're anecdotal. In the first one, they found a guy who would still vote for Trump, here, they lead off with a guy who feels stupid for voting for Trump. But in both cases, it's one guy. Who knows how many share that view?

Interesting to note--at least half the comments are "pay more and you'll get Americans" but of course one issue with these jobs isn't the pay rate, it's their seasonal nature. Add to that the fact that we're near full employment, and even if the pay were 20 and hour, you wouldn't get people leaving full time permanent jobs for landscaping jobs.

One by one. A chip, then a crack, then a fissure. As stories pile up, followed up with the recognition that there were no problems with seasonal help down south, there is a chance that it will be recognized that they have been suckered.

You have to wonder though--while in some ag areas, there will be knock on effects that will show up in the local economy, and that may cut into Trump's support (though again, those areas the Republicans and Trump start out with significant advantages) if the only direct economic effects are felt by owners of lawn service and contractors, does that really matter to everyone who doesn't own a business that depends on the visas? Again, the comments are indicative--contractors should raise wages to hire Americans. Trump and the Republican have never had a problem throwing former supporters under the bus before, so there's nothing stopping from doing the same with these people. Mitch McConnell's silence about all this I think reflects that.

I did not realize that Bolton said “I think that’s what denuclearization means. We have very much in mind the Libya model from 2003, 2004” to Chris Wallace Sunday morning.
Since Gaddafi was overthrown and executed, you can see why there is a negative reaction.

Donald Tusk
@eucopresident

Looking at latest decisions of @realDonaldTrump someone could even think: with friends like that who needs enemies. But frankly, EU should be grateful. Thanks to him we got rid of all illusions. We realise that if you need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of your arm.

Adolf, of course, will probably miss the sarcasm in Tusk's tweet and agree that the EU should be grateful to and for him.
