That's the type of logic I would expect from a republican. Morals don't matter to these people. Can we investigate what happened in the runup to the election, plz?

Huh?

He said he thinks impeachment is too easy an out an Americans need to fix it by voting.

I'm not sure I understand. That sure sounds like he's saying there should be no impeachment, even though he recognizes that Trump is garbage. He did say, unless the source I read misquoted him, that Trump was not morally fit.

It's easy for him to say we should fix it by voting when he messed with that voting process. He deliberately helped misinform the public and now is saying that Americans should vote him out. Well, we wouldn't have to vote him out if not for Comey's actions. How can people vote in an informed way with people like Comey misinforming them?

Mitt niece, and current RNC Chair, Ronna Romney McDaniel is out in front on Comey. Comey must be seen as a real threat. I have heard her 3 times blasting Comey. When thee are any other questions, she poorly deflects, really stylistically a lot like Sarah Sanders. Also like Sanders', McDaniel rolls out lists of somewhat questionable Trump accomplishment at every turn. When asked about questionable acts of ranking RNC players, she rolled it as look harder at the DNC because they are bad people.

I am becoming less impressed with Alan Dershowitz as a non-partisan player. Places want Dershowitz on their broadcasts, and sort of lick his heel when he says he is independent, but he spends a lot of energy on the Trump Stump to be wrapped up under the independent label. he has been out there pushing Trump messaging, albeit more adeptly then most, but his personality changes when he is in a safer harbor like Fox into someone more partisan. Maybe it is the color of the network, and the questions asked, but he seems more supportive of the agenda.

you can't impeach someone because they are a bad person-- they have to commit treason, bribery or some other high crime.

Not exactly...it's a political process, not a criminal one. Clinton was impeached for obstruction of justice and perjury for a blowjob.

You can stop at "High Crime" which has no legal definition. Clinton's "high crime" was . . .

Don't believe me, if you look at wiki, the "definition" references Ann Coulter book.

yes, of course. I was going under the assumption that Comey is smart enough to know that Trump is corrupt. Maybe that's the divide here. Maybe he's acting like he doesn't know if the corruption part is true and, therefore, he can't say he should be impeached, though then I would think he would hedge his bets and say something like, " if it's proven he committed a crime, then he should be impeached."

if you want to trust comey, go ahead. I'm not sure what that trust is based on though. seems like we have lots of reasons NOT to trust him.

This fits poorly everwhere, so here I stick it:

Chris Cuomo time waster with KAC went 10 or so minutes into Chris Berman's show, the tussle ended with KAC good naturally apologizing to Berman for the overage, but not for the EAGLES beating the Pats. I nearly barfed. This is my saddest post SB moment.

WRT the "interview" it is not even worth your time unless you like her shrill voice talking over Cuomo, and pushing propaganda. I think it saw 1/3 of it, and it was terrible.

I think that there is a line he will not cross under 'due process'. I take that as his personal code. His casting doubt might have caused him further personal damage, and if he made a statement of criminality that fails, he becomes the thing he is mock as.

I am sure there is still information he can't talk about.

If he were to have answered, "Man, if you knew what I knew he would have been impeached yesterday!!" Just not sure what you wanted him to say there.

Cohen revealed his client list: 1) Donald, 2) the RNC guy who paid more then a million to get rid of a baby, and 3) someone who refuses to be named publicly. 3 clients? that's it? Nothing odd there.

Well now he has 10. My point was if your only client is Donald who seems to not pay (or makes you pay for him being your client), then you are up the creek. then it was 3, which included what seems like a one time thing, and someone who wants no association. Seems extremely fishy to play these games. I am not saying that the other 8 should not desire to keep their names out of the press.
