Honestly, I can't tell. Brexit is sucking everything in like this a massive whirlpool of shit. I'm on an extended break from twitter because my feed is consumed with Brexit, and folk from the states picking over the intricacies of the Mueller investigation which has me lost. I am driven mad by both sides of the Brexit argument, and their inability to look at anything beyond the UK. Doing my fucking head in.

Also the UK's electoral system is not looking free from all this. There are some connections to the Cambridge Analytica bunch through to the Brexit campaign, through UKIP IIRC, and there's this ongoing rumbling issue of money donated to the DUP, the Northern Irish Unionist party who campaigned for Brexit and spent the money in some interesting ways: https://www.opendemocracy.net/dup-dark-money

Fair does to the journo who's been chasing up Cambridge Analytica, Carole Cadwaeller - she's kept a laser focus on them for over a year now. Shes' been poking around algorithms and focused election propaganda for a while.

Isn't DUP in with the Tories now? They needed them for a coalition, I thought.

I am more interested in the process of how political parties are currently figuring out what they stand for and who will stand for those values. The next several months will decide who is swept in if the Democrats takes back power. I wonder how Corbyn would actually govern when the full force of the news, establishment and Tories are Against him and they don't have to defend anything they do because they're out of power. A failure in either country would set back things for 20 years, in my view. This is why I'm trying in my own capacity to help select the right people.

I am sure you all though of it, but this needs to play out in Trump country for all those coal miner, and steel workers in blaring headline that if MANAGEMENT wants to push around employees, they can toss them and keep the pension.

BTW - That can work out for Lamb as he can make a statement that he vowed to fight for workers rights like keeping pensions earned through hard work. A nice anti-Trump message to rebut some of Don's stupid comment.
