US Supreme Court will NOT hear the DACA appeal the Trump administration placed on the lower court ruling to continue with DACA, meaning it stays in place for the time being!

Thanks. No wonder it was so hard to tell...I'm like a quarter mile from the line. In the 5th now.

that will be a fun primary!

basically 3 months and still not sure who all the candidates will be. vote for a good one because he or she will assuredly win in november.
Lot of Candidates. I assume Muroff is the favorite right now with Leach all but gone. Muroff is a little chalky but at least he's for a $15 minimum wage, expanded EITC, guaranteed family/sick leave, and banning assault weapons.

Leach OUT!

Saw it and though it is about damn time. Nothing against the octogenarian specifically, but the need to live out ones days in a seat of power seems misplaced. Politics needs adequate representation with new eyes with some frequency. In a state like CA why would you go into politics if the top slots are historically owned? The upside is that she has generally been remarkably progressive for her age, so it modulates this a bit, but retirement is an option. Before Kamala Harris, Barbara Boxer was the youngster at 76.

Scary how many people will read that quote and think "That's my president! Of course he would run in there, he's a hero!"

Now that the justification is starting, this dumb idea has descended 2000 feet to just pure stupidity. Skilled pilot does not make a quality or qualified administrator.

Ivanka Trump was asked a simple question: "Do you believe your father's accusers?"

She answered: "I think it's a pretty inappropriate question to ask a daughter if she believes the accusers of her father when he's affirmatively stated there's no truth to it."

I am not sure where I am on this. Is it lazy reporting? Was there an expectation that she would say something else? she is in a nasty place because dear old dad stepped out on her mom, and her family, so there is everyreason for her to believe it. Then again, there she sits being asked about her father for discussion over breakfast in American households.

That said, she is also part of the administration, and that complicates things (except you are expected to be a bobble head in the admin). She came out saying that there were reasons to believe Moore's accusers. So she needs to make her choice, is she a public servant, or is she a favorite first child?

One thing is sure, I feel not an ounce of sorrow for her.

of course she will reflexively defend her father as his daughter; but this is why you don't use the White House as your personal family grifting machine and give your kids important roles for which they will be held to account.

It is a bit tricky. I don't think I would ask the question, but it makes sense that someone should. If she didn't want to be part of the administration and subject to the same questions as the others, she should stop acting like she was elected with her father and/or qualified for the errands she's running.

Head a soundbite of Don & the governors. I think the Governor of Washington said that his feed back has been negative about guns in classrooms, but then he messed up with a 'less tweeting more listening' bit where he thought that if DJT slowed down a little he might hear something different. Bad move, Don loves Don. Just ask small claims court Judge Jeanie. So DJT basically says that he is right, and calls on Texas for comment/question (sb over). Texas where thier cold dead hands will need to be pried apart to get the gun...

Was this a double down or just the full quote? He buckled in the Governors as likely heroes too.

"You don't know until you're tested but I think I really believe I'd run in there even if I didn't have a weapon and I think most of the people in this room would have done that, too," Trump said at a White House meeting.

He again found fault with the officers who didn't stop the gunman who carried out the massacre. "They really weren't exactly Medal of Honor winners," he added.
