All of this obstruction from the White House sure makes you wonder what they are trying to hide.

Sen. Graham says he's not voting for a CR. Government faces shutdown Friday if one is not passed. If my memory serves last time 37 Senate Democrats voted no on a CR that didn't fix CHIP or address DACA. I assume Graham is a no (for now) because of the DACA issue.

Dems won't vote without DACA. Conservatives demand vote on tough border bill. Government is close until Spring. Maybe that stops Meuller.

The Special Counsel and his staff are protected from the Government shutdown.

Also, assuming everyone holds serve from last vote + Graham, we still need 3 more Nay votes (need 41 total to prevent cloture).

There is talk that DJT will get an early jump on the weekend and head to Mar-a-lago Friday! Shut down the government and head on out to the golf course in sunny Florida since there is nothing to do in good old DC.

I actually admire trumps constant golfing (as someone who also tries to work as little as possible) and isn't he in his least dangerous form on the golf course?

To think it is in the RNC website. The official RNC website is attacking the press that is.

To sum up, at least eight of the “Fake News” winners resulted in corrections, with two reports prompting suspensions or resignations. Two of the winners were simply tweets that were quickly corrected and never resulted in news articles. One was an opinion article in which the author later retracted his prediction.

Let’s it put it this way: If the president admitted error as frequently, he would earn far fewer Pinocchios.

The RNC website is attacking its own members

And last, but not least: “RUSSIA COLLUSION!” Russian collusion is perhaps the greatest hoax perpetrated on the American people. THERE IS NO COLLUSION!”

KIEV, Ukraine (AP) — Ukraine's parliament has passed a bill on the "occupied" territories in the country's east controlled by Russia-backed separatists.

The bill approved Thursday after raucous debates designates the areas in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions as "temporarily occupied" by "aggressor country" Russia. It envisages the use of military force to get them back under Ukraine's control.

The conflict in the east erupted after Russia's annexation of Crimea and killed over 10,000 since April 2014. A 2015 peace agreement has helped reduce hostilities, but clashes continued.

The bill contains no reference to the Minsk peace deal brokered by France and Germany that obliged Ukraine to pass legislation offering a broad autonomy to the separatist regions and a sweeping amnesty to the rebels. Most Ukrainian political forces have strongly opposed the idea.
