I saw that on Twitter, but nothing sourced. I was going to post that here, or did? Who knows, memory is overrated.

It would be a disappointment, especially since it seems her assurances regarding healthcare were ignored.

I just mean, if Strange is still there, she can vote no and be like I WAS AGAINST THIS while they still have the 50 votes. can't do that with Jones there.

I still think she'll vote yes though.

Echoing JU's post while not quoting him, but yea. She can have the feel good of voting no and having it be 50-50 while also coming out against the one sure way to slow the process/kill the bill.

Republicans in North Carolina are changing the judiciary there because they are upset their gerrymandering is being overturned and not allowing Democrats to even talk about it in hearings.

Farenthold resigns. Get that disgusting duckie pajama wearing pig outta here.

EDIT: For credibility sakes I'll leave my sick fake news. He's apparently not seeking re-election, but finishing his term.

He won’t vote for anything that increases the budget… except for tax cuts, which are always good for everyone regardless of who they’re directly benefiting.

Roy Moore refused to concede the Alabama senate election in a fiery video statement released Wednesday night in which he warned “the heart and soul of our country is at stake”. “Today, we no longer recognize the universal truth that God is the author of our life and liberty,” Moore said. “Abortion, sodomy and materialism have taken the place of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” He added: “Immorality sweeps over our land.”

Thank God this lunatic lost. Another zealot who has trouble walking the walk.

Abortion, sodomy and materialism

lol, he's helped increase all three of those with his support for tax cuts at the expense of the poor and his penchant for trapping little girls in his car.

Feeling really dumb about applauding the good faith gesture the Dems did to help the GOP after that bombing. What a shithole state.

I was kind of confused by The Daily this morning -- are the Net Neutrality critics basically equating keeping the internet free with "regulation"? And if so how is that working

as far as i could tell from the introduction, it just means that companies have to be forthright with what they're going to do.

A commissioner gives a great, fact-based but passionate speech about why letting internet "freedom" happen is a bad thing. When she was fniished he laughs and goes "I'll mark you down as a no"

That's the least of it.y ou're going to be payuing more for anything you do online. Small companies are going to get squeezed by Amazon. The news you see will be determined by corporations.
