God I hope this is true. Trump secretly changes staffers’ assignments given to them by Kelly

I alone you bitches

Ha!

President Trump has sometimes summoned White House staffers to his private residence in the evening to change assignments given to them by Chief of Staff John Kelly – and then telling them not to let him know, a report on Sunday said.

wow, they're really going after the right targets; i guess Nunes hasn't recused himself anymore...

U.S. House Republicans are drafting a contempt of Congress resolution against Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray, claiming stonewalling in producing material related to the Russia-Trump probes and other matters.

Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes and other committee Republicans, after considering such action for several weeks, decided to move after media including the New York Times reported Saturday on why a top FBI official assigned to Special Counsel Robert Mueller's probe of Russia-Trump election collusion had been removed from the investigation.

Republicans, including the president, pointed to the reports as evidence that the entire probe into Russian meddling has been politically motivated.

what;s this all about? Mueller apparently removed a guy a few months back who made some pro-clinton tweets

Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney downplayed the possibility of a shutdown, but he noted that certain blocs of lawmakers could derail a short-term CR.

“You know, it's funny to see now that the Republicans are in charge, I think there's a group of right-wingers in the House who say they want to shut the government down,” Mulvaney said Sunday on CBS’ “Face the Nation.” “There's a group of Democrats who want to shut the government down over DACA. And there's a group of lawmakers from some of the hurricane states who want to shut the government down until they get what they want.”

When he was in the House, Mulvaney supported the 2013 government shutdown, which Republicans forced in hopes of getting Congress to defund Obamacare, and he played a key role in a 2011 crisis in which some conservatives balked at raising the federal debt ceiling.

Not sure how, or if, this fits into the meddling situation. There is this alt universe thing with a side gig of transition players working policy W/O Pence. That is interesting, but it also reeks of protecting Pence from knowing anything, which seems curated.

Although I, like CB, don’t believe it at all, there is not much gain. It’s public so attorney client privilege matters little, and you would need to believe that his lawyers has the inside track. So Trump knew.

Bumbling morons.

So why is Comey engaging in a public twitter war with Trump? something's really not right with that.

But doesn't it possibly interfere with a potential trial? Trump has been rightfully chastised for making comments about the terrorist guy in NYC and other cases for that reason. Couldn't Comey's statements cause similar problems? It just seems crazy unprofessional.

Sorry, but I also really don't trust Mueller on any of this. It looks so far like it will be a public argument over whether or not an incoming president should be able to influence policy. Logan Act and all that, but public opinion will side with Trump, especially if it looked like he was going to be successful improving relations with Russia. I realize a lot will change as more charges are filed, but I just don't trust Mueller not to push things in a direction that will be as positive as possible for the GOP. And if you think I'm crazy, just remember the stuff Comey pulled a week away from the election. He's trying to cast himself as some kind of hero for justice, but he deliberately used his position at the FBI to influence a presidential election. He should be under investigation, imho.
