Pocahontas, pedos, polls, prosecutors, and pun-free politics

We live in a sad world. The inequity between the haves and have nots was just broadened in a way that our country may soon look like a certain Far East country where the people do not have a voice.

I think the 2019 start date is hysterical. It's almost like this is a political bill centered on getting folks reelected. If it's so critical to driving our economy and create all these jobs for our 4% of ppl looking for work - why not make it effective 1/1/18?

And for all the people In congress who refused to work with Obama because his legislative goals created larger deficits, well, your true, bipartisan, likely racist colors came through tonight. Looking at you Tea Party.

The sad part is that people like jersey, who love them some tax cuts, are not helped at all here. I'm blessed that I got a high quality education and have a high paying job. As someone else noted in his thread, I will be fine. My son will be fine. But the hard lined true middle class republicans are fucked. Hope those republicans like jersey can call their rich friends hoping for handouts (oh the irony).

Here are the highlights from Fox News this morning:

- I too would say anything to the FBI if my son was at risk. (Condone lying to Federal prosecutors)

- Collusion to rig the election tends to happen before the election and these lies came after the election (liars never lie about other things)

- Fox News doesn't seem to realize mueller is investigating obstruction of justice not just election meddling.

And I guess the America Dream means making our children pay for rich people.

Makes sense why those without kids are all about another trillion in debt.

If we can't take away affordable healthcare, we will make it unaffordable to the ooor through tax reform!

Ted Cruz says he will work with Moore and if elected Moore should not be removed

He obviously feels differently about democratic counterparts, voters be damned.

Trillion dollar giveaway and transfer of wealth to the super rich and corporations is now at the conference level.

The GOP must be so happy today.

Trump’s attempt to yell at British Prime Minister Theresa May wound up mailed to Theresa May Scrivener, a normal British mom who seemed worried that “the world’s most powerful man managed to press the wrong button.”

I cannot believe that regular order did not prevail. OK, I think that there is desperation, as I said yesterday, since the WH seems like it might be permanently distracted. None of this is good for America.

how did they not just put '10 Downing St'

run on Medicare-for-all, debt-free college/trade school for all, and raising taxes on the super rich. politicians that support these are politicians i will be supporting in primaries

debt/deficit is simply garbage talking points at this point. GOP doesn't care, don't let them feign outrage.

The problem is that so many voters think they will literally go to hell if they vote for Democrats b/c of dead babies.

The Republicans are not stupid...sinister, yes but not stupid. They know this will not affect them at the polls in 2018 because the real impacts on their constituents won't be felt for a few years.

It is so easy to spend 6 months turning the crank of what this is and how it effects them that is really is rather dumb.

Always love that Laffer is the father of trickle down. It works spectacularly in a vacuum isolated from actual implementation details like companies taking the advantage as profit. He was on CNN talking about how good the Kansas approach was, too bad about things like petrol, crops, and other revenue sources. Those are some of the actual variable that matter, and clarify why this theory fails when it meets reality. Then the trickle down of having no money for things like education really kick in.
