President Trump said that he will declare a national emergency next week, months past announcing this action, to address the opioid epidemic. While he was at it he declined to express confidence in Rep. Tom Marino, his choice to be drug czar after the story broke that his legislation freed up drug companies to massively profit by shipping absurd amounts of drugs to small towns across the US without any real oversight, likely igniting thee opioid crisis.

The brutal irony is that this is pretty much modus operandi for Trump pics running departments. They are either completely clueless as to the responsibility of the office , want to destroy whatever they’re in charge of, or have done something horribly egregious against the mission of the department.

Inquirer endorsed Grossman, the Republican, for Philly DA. Krasner people are mad. Do they ever endorse Republicans? Seems so weird.

Amen. The GOP cares more about their agenda (of demeaning and marginalizing most of America, cutting down the access to healthcare, revoking support for the middle and lower class) than they do of taking care of the basic health of our Republic. An orange child with no idea how government works and a hard tilt towards fascism is out there tweeting about violating the constitution and starting a nuclear conflict and they're sitting on their hands like the cowards they are.
