Some brutal truths about the falsehoods institutionalized in the GOP tax cut religion from one of its founders. It pointedly lays bare the facts of the failures of trickle down, the increases incurred in the debt, that Regan needed to raise taxes repetitively to keep the ship from capsizing, and that the recession left for Bush 1 was an outcome. It also shines a light on government spending as one of the biggest boons to Regans economic success.

All this is important because in Trump's quest to become Regan 2 (starting with MAGA), he is making all of the same mistakes.

HHS isn't going to advertise ACA enrollment much at all anymore.

so enrollment period is down to 6 weeks, the website will be down for 12 hours on sundays, they already cut funding to navigators and marketing, and now they won't be partnering with advocacy groups to enroll people.

Perfectly normal way for HHS to highlight their own program:
“Marketplace enrollment events are organized and implemented by outside groups with their own agendas, not HHS. These events may continue regardless of HHS participation,” HHS spokesperson Caitlin Oakley said in a statement. “As Obamacare continues to collapse, HHS is carefully evaluating how we can best serve the American people who continue to be harmed by Obamacare’s failures.”

On the state level we too routinely try to unenroll people from programs who are eligible for them and need assistance. we also say how much we suck at our jobs. slugs is point man on that.

I'm sure an expert would say this sucks technically, but when you consider the context of the picture it's really interesting to me. One of the worst and most destructive leaders in the modern world, weighed down by guilt in the shower. I dunno, it's kinda striking to me.

Rep. Mark Walker, the chair of the conservative Republican Study Committee, described female members of the group as the committee's "eye candy" during a press conference Tuesday morning. "The accomplished men and women of the RSC. And women. If it wasn't sexist, I would say the RSC eye candy, but we'll leave that out of the record," Walker said.

Of course, it was all just a poor attempt at a joke. I guess my sense of humor sucks because I'm not sure where this had a chance to be even remotely funny. But, I guess when the leader of your party got elected by saying whatever the #$!&@ it is he wanted to say (and hasn't stopped since taking office), this is what you get.

http://www.cnn.com/2017/09/26/politics/ ... index.html

It clearly is a ill though through, bad joke (look up the one of the eye candies in question Diane Black, which makes the joke that she is far from it, which is just as bad).

Then again, Mark Warner is a heavy duty anti-Trump Democrat, so there is that too.

You're confusing Senator Mark Warner of Virigina with Representative Mark Walker of North Carolina.

Speak of ill "though through" bad jokes at the expense of woman, your shot a Rep. of Diane Black serves as another fine example.

Mr Walker lays it bare:
“It’s a great talking point when you have an administration that’s Democrat-led,” the conservative lawmaker said. “It’s a little different now that Republicans have both houses and the administration.”
“There’s been less talk about it this year with a Republican-led administration than there has been the last seven or eight years,” Walker, who is concerned about a tax bill adding to the deficit, told the Time

at least they're being truthful this term
