I noticed Moore is 70, and it got me thinking about how old our representation might be. Through the power of the internet I discovered that the average age of Members of the House at the beginning of the 115th Congress was 57.8 years, and Senators was 61.8 years. The voting population has a lot to do with this, as it is similar in composition, and until the Millennials are more engaged this is a set pattern. Boomers and Millennials represent about the same population where GenX is mitigated by being ~36% smaller (shit sandwich).
