was thinking that with all the unnatural stress - both physical and mental - that I bring upon myself, a heart attack is probably inevitable in the next few years. I just hope I go with the first one. Will live my life fully until then but I don't want to be some squib with a weak heart walking around. no offense, just not for me.

He also arranged to take a couple of truckloads of foodstuffs, diapers, etc. from New England to Houston last week getting donations from his Red Sox fans and right wing nut job followers (I'm a Facebook friend).

People should remember all the charity work he did for Lou Gehrig's disease and all the times he would sign autographs and spend time talking with fans.

Yeah he's a mixed bag. The ego that made him red light Curt also made him one of the best big game pitchers ever. He also was a military brat who worshipped his father. 9/11 made him a bit politically crazy and the Iraq war aligned him with the right. He isn't the brightest bulb in the closet and the crazies fawn all over him. He has a good heart though.

Urgh, someone hacked my Amazon account, changing the email address used to access it to the not at all suspicious sounding (changed only ever so slightly) LolliyaVokovana300@list.ru .

Called them up to at least remove the credit card associated with it, but they refuse to do anything or even contact me by email, since I am not the innocent Lolliya. Will call me some time in the the next two business days. No reference number for the call, no indication that they will try to invalidate sweet Lolliya's access, no help really at all from associate "Sebastian."

i hope they set up their second headquarters in some pit like Blacksburg, Virginia.

Oh, and I had to spell my email address four times: it's my first initial and my last name ffs, just like should be on your screen.

Bucky wrote:In related news, you may recall all the way back to Monday when I woke up to 622 emails and some bot had signed me up for every mailing list in the world. Well, got a snail-mail from Citi today - "notice of suspicious account activity". Couldn't log on to the account. Called them, and they couldn't tell me exactly what happened, but they did say that they had automatically de-activated my online access. I'm guessing the bot tried to set me up with a citi account somehow and they recognized the email addy as one already in use. The account is unused, and they said there were no transactions.

SO did some more googling on this "mass email subscription" thingy:

So it looks like the bulk email was supposed to be a distraction, so emails regarding password change attempts were missed. Luckily it was caught and no major compromises

( https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/ ... ling-lists )

It all adds up. Although I did browse through all the "fake signup" emails to see if there was some "real" email intermingled, and saw nothing like this, I guess it's possible I did miss something. So I guess this is just informational now so that if something like this happens to anyone else, be sure to look through everything in case they try this rigamarole on you too. (I have considered the possibility that my email account has been compromised, but in that case they would just delete the password change email and would have no need to send all the fake subscriptions as cover).

Working on a shorter synopsis fof this for my facebook world because hey that's what I do

I find password is easy to remember. I tried my first name, but never could remember if i capitalized it or not.

the two celebs trending towards being fat in their senior years are Rihanna & Leo DiCaprio. It'd be funny if around 10 years from they settled down as the biggun couple of Hollywood.

It took me reading several books over several years to learn what a wrestling heel is, and now I'm doing that, not for career or financial gain, but an important and worthy social experiment to understand how people react when you act super stupid for several years with little to no redemptive qualities.
