"where does it stop?" may be a loaded and disingenuous question but it's also a pretty hard one to answer on the fly with any conviction
I think "treason" and "taking up arms against the USA" are pretty good on-the-fly answers to "where does it stop?"
I think that would be pretty confusing if someone was asking about Taney or Rizzo
that would be a different conversation, and more oriented on Philly. i don't accept the idea that the two conversations have to build on each other.
The Rizzo thing had been a point of focus for BLM and other recent movements anyway, so given the focus on removing monuments to white supremacists it seems like a good time. The city shuffled its feet responding to those people so they're applying pressure. Asa Khalif said "by Christmas" but given the string of vandalism I think it'll be addressed in shorter order.
