538 has had him actually trending slightly upward, though of course most polls have not been able to keep up with the velocity and frequency of his idiocy.

Ted Dallas is OUT at PA Department of Human Services; he'll be given a cush job within Wolf's admin where he can do no further harm

state Senator in Missouri wrote a disturbing response on FB:
“I hope Trump is assassinated!” Missouri state Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal, D-University City, wrote during a morning Facebook exchange, referring to Republican President Donald Trump.

She quickly deleted her post, but not quickly enough. By midafternoon, the political verdicts of her own party were rolling in:

U.S. Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo.: “I condemn it. It’s outrageous. And she should resign.”

U.S. Rep. William Lacy Clay, D-St. Louis: “(C)alling for the assassination of the President is a federal crime. … (She is) an embarrassment to our state. She should resign immediately.”

Missouri Democratic Party Chair Stephen Webber: “The … Party will absolutely not tolerate calls for the assassination of the President. I believe she should resign.”

she hasn't resigned yet; pathetic.

Jmo, the Dems had better do more to secure the election system. With election hacking, the 2018 election will be a landslide for the repubs.

Every company that provides tech help and repair for digital election systems is part of Corporate America. Nuff said.

Shit like that really does not help at all. As much as I despise Adolf, calling for his assassination is as disgusting as it is illegal. Forget waiting for a resignation, remove her from office.

Yeah, pretty disgusting. Also, one of the worst possible outcomes. He'd be made a martyr and it would just stoke more hate and violence. Really dumb.

I think "treason" and "taking up arms against the USA" are pretty good on-the-fly answers to "where does it stop?"

Heather Heyer's mother was interviewed on GMA

Trump called during the funeral and staffers left "frantic messages" after that, but she was too busy with setting foundation and memorials to answer. She hasn't had a chance to see the clip of Trump at his press conference until yesterday and has now decided to not meet with Trump, as a handshake and saying sorry will not wash it away.

I think it wiser, moreover, not to keep open the sores of war but to follow the examples of those nations who endeavored to obliterate the marks of civil strife, to commit to oblivion the feelings engendered.

that would be a different conversation, and more oriented on Philly. i don't accept the idea that the two conversations have to build on each other.
