Ryan wins maybe by 30pts on average? Nice to see they'll run against him but I think he keeps his seat

Great ad, looks like a good candidate at least from an optics perspective for that district, and Ryan himself as one of the faces of the Republican party and this administration's policies, will be running with the baggage of a president who is becoming more unpopular by the day, for now.
I likes his chances.

Ryan will not be popular, nationwide, when (if) the ACHA passes. Not sure how that would be reflected in his district though. A vote for this thing is near suicide. No idea why they're so hell bent on...oh right tax cuts for them and their friends. The Crimson Cyclone wrote:I'm hopeful that the house can be flipped, but realistic that the Senate won't and may even gain GOP seats in 2018, I certainly am not pie in the sky enough to believe Ryan will lose

Flake (AZ) and Heller (NV) are the biggest vulnerabilities (IIRC) and their vote on AHCA may either be the saving grace or nail in the coffin. The races that the Dems face are pretty tough too (for example, McCaskill in MO).

36 per cent approve of the President, five months into his first term, the lowest point recorded so far.
Despite the President speaking against Special Counsel prosecutor Robert Mueller, who is now leading the Russia investigation, more than half of those surveyed – 56 per cent – believe Mr Mueller is impartial and should be allowed to act unhindered.
