Senators Schatz, Booker, and Murphy live streamed their walk to CBO to try and get a copy of the Senate AHCA bill and will be live streaming whatever comes after the meeting #whataworld #democracyinthenewage #getoffmymobilelawn

Ryan wins maybe by 30pts on average? Nice to see they'll run against him but I think he keeps his seat

Ad's pretty sweet though - should include a shot of Ryan doing his bicep curls (his idea of "iron work")
Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)

I wanted to clarify this since he said he thinks it's apparent that Flynn is a CW, not that he knows for certain

Great ad, looks like a good candidate at least from an optics perspective for that district, and Ryan himself as one of the faces of the Republican party and this administration's policies, will be running with the baggage of a president who is becoming more unpopular by the day, for now.

I likes his chances.

Trump won the district by 11 pts, that's a huge margin of discontent to overcome, forgetting that Ryan's popularity above Trump in the area is even tougher to overcome

Yea, splice Ryan calling Trump's comments about Judge Curiel as "textbook racism" with any of his praises/embraces of Trumnp and that's an ad right there.

I'm hopeful that the house can be flipped, but realistic that the Senate won't and may even gain GOP seats in 2018, I certainly am not pie in the sky enough to believe Ryan will lose

Flake (AZ) and Heller (NV) are the biggest vulnerabilities (IIRC) and their vote on AHCA may either be the saving grace or nail in the coffin. The races that the Dems face are pretty tough too (for example, McCaskill in MO).

It is sad when a White House press briefing being "on camera" is news in itself. #somuchtransparency

Ryan will not be popular, nationwide, when (if) the ACHA passes. Not sure how that would be reflected in his district though. A vote for this thing is near suicide. No idea why they're so hell bent on...oh right tax cuts for them and their friends.

FFS it's been reported that he's been dreaming of "fixing" Medicaid since his keg party days. There is a lot of ammo for ads on the health care issue alone. I don't know if it will be enough, but Paul Ryan will have to fight to retain his seat I think.

That FFS was towards Ryan's general well Ryan-ness, and not what you or anyone here said.

Collins, Flake, & Heller should torpedo McConnell's "health care bill"

Should be, but I refuse to count out the cowardice of politicians. I believe Heller spoke positively of the 7 year fade out of the Medicaid expansion (as opposed to something more immediate).

36 per cent approve of the President, five months into his first term, the lowest point recorded so far.

Image

Plenty of room to the floor.

63% of poll respondents disapprove of the WH engagement with Russia, so it is only natural that there is no answer on the WH position on Russian cyber activities.

So it is time to shift to war take on yet another front.

Just for fun

Despite the President speaking against Special Counsel prosecutor Robert Mueller, who is now leading the Russia investigation, more than half of those surveyed – 56 per cent – believe Mr Mueller is impartial and should be allowed to act unhindered.

Wholly Cowabunga, I saw half-turtle-half-man sound bite that some percentage of the GOP are working quietly (secretly) on the Health Care because the Dems have no interest in health care. Although he was messaging that they are not playing nicely in the pool, the facts are that they were never asked or included, and this is not a bipartisan thing. It was just amazing. Sort of an excuse me while I shit in your cheerios thing.

So the WH and House, and more recently the Senate are operating in secret. Its time to hit the alarm that there is something very seriously wrong in the US. Only votes and demands of current representation can fix this.
