They might not really have been convicted felons.

I do think there's a point at which campaign spending becomes counter productive. I think it happened back in 2000 when Corzine was well ahead in the polls but kept spending money on TV. I think at some point, voters got sick and tired of seeing and hearing Corzine ads all the time and as a consequence he won by a smaller margin than most polls predicted.

If you feel like you have to spend that money, I'd spend on giving people donuts and fried chicken and stuff.

Where I live, it's not a dog whistle. (Though to be sure some establishments are known to be favored by one ethnicity or the other.)

gawd,Tillerson's voice. It's the same as this one guy who used to be part of a professional group I was associated with. His voice was always the most serious-sounding, & he invariably said the stupidest things.

Almost as bad as Trey Gowdy's

Her four years as Speaker were a heroic triumph, but after tonight I think House Democrats need to think hard about the Pelosi Question.

I doubt anything comes of this, but if Dems could trade her for Hoyer or Tim Ryan or Sean Moulton or whomever really think a House Dem takeover is likely rather than lean/tossup.

Moulton is the only one of those that sounds remotely appealing

Some leaks and rumors are coming out about Senate AHCA that's due to be released sometime today:

1. Subsidy qualification decreased from 400% FPIG (Federal Poverty Income Guidelines) to 350% FPIG (for a household of 1 that goes from $48,240 to $42,210).

2. Eliminate all of ACA's taxes except the "Cadillac tax" on expensive healthcare plans

3. Roll back Medicaid expansion (House bill had this, but Senate's would be more gradual, I saw some tweet about 2021)

4. More leeway for states to opt out of coverage requirements (but not pre-existing conditions, but w/out all of the protections those with pre-existing conditions are hurt)

at least the one tax they kept sticks it to union members with good health plans; it's really a two-fer for them!

last night at President Mr Trump's he said he was going to introduce legislation to bar immigrants who've been here less than 5 years from receiving welfare.

it already passed in 1996 as part of welfare reform and I and slugs deal with it everyday. lmao

Address is :

27 S. 34th Street
Camp Hill, PA 17011

and it is licensed as Palmyra

Now the mighty I105 country station was/is out of Ephrata (and weirdly in the late 80's had an AM station that played indy/alternative)

Central PA Radio Legend Bruce Bond hosts the "Bruce Bond Late Afternoon show....Saturday Morning" On 92.1 WTPA.

Tune in Bruce each Saturday morning from 9am - 12noon His show features special guests, and engaging and interesting conversations on a variety of topics. Bruce has a long history of being one of the most talked about personalities in local radio. And now you can hear him Saturdays on 92.1 WTPA.

turns out the owner of that station wrote his own country song supporting President Donald:
